Mevlüt Çelik, married and has 3 children, born on September 09, 1954 in the Bolvadin district of Afyonkarahisar. Mevlüt Çelik, one of the four children of a carpenter father in a modest family, completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown, Bolvadin.
During his high school and university life, he took the pleasure of God as the cornerstone and took many duties voluntarily in many non-governmental organizations when he adopted the principle that patriotism is a part of faith.
In this sense, regardless of political party, he considered it his main duty to embroider the love of the country into his life and generations, by taking responsibilities in every institution and organisation in which the Love of Homeland is the main infinitive in every period of his life.
He completed his high school education with high success and started his education at ANKARA UNIVERSITY Veterinary Faculty in 1972. In the troubled times our country was going through in these years, he successfully completed his education and training without worrying about the future in the struggles in the name of the Homeland, only for the sake of God, and at the same time, he worked as a senior manager in non-governmental organisations to which he was a member, despite his young age.
Professional Experience: He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. Respectively; He worked as a veterinarian in the Van-Erciş Altındere Stud Farm, Afyonkarahisar- Sincanlı District under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, and did his military service in İzmir Foça. He worked as a veterinarian in Kütahya-Altıntaş district for 6 years. In 1988-1989, he received training on dairy cattle nutrition and epidemiology in the USA. In 1991, he received training on epidemiology, monitoring and eradication of animal diseases at the University of Reading, England. As a researcher and manager at Pendik Veterinary Control and Research Institute for 7 years; Between 1995-1996, he worked as a manager at Konya Animal Husbandry Central Research Institute. He resigned from his post in June 1996 and started to work in the private sector.
He has researches and publications on Pathology and Epidemiology.
He worked as a senior manager at Istanbul Pharmaceutical Warehouse and ALKE Pharmaceuticals companies in the private sector. He worked as the General Manager in Güler Hypermarkets chain. He worked as a General Manager and partner at Bebeholland Child Food Company.
Based on the importance of "preventive medicine" in the development of the country's livestock, Çelik took the first step of Çesa Group in 2003 and established Çelik Veterinary Products Mevlüt Çelik company.
He endeavored to offer the livestock to the benefit of the animal farm owners by carrying out joint studies with many foreign and domestic partner companies in their fields. From 2010 until he passed away, he endeavored to benefit our country in conscious breeding as a distributor of international companies in imports of high genetic breeding heifers and fattening calves from the USA and Europe in order to improve production and genetics in our country. With a total of 38 years of professional experience and work, he made serious contributions to our country's animal husbandry. He has adopted the motto of serving the country in the fields of development of genetics in animal husbandry, healthy nutrition and correct breeding by offering quality products.
As a result of the sudden discomfort he suffered in the morning hours of 07/12/2015, he passed away.
